GOLF COURSE HOME® first appeared as a special pre-printed supplement to Inc. Magazine in 1995. In January 2000, Golf Course Home concluded a successful migration to the Internet, becoming an online resource for executives looking to purchase golf and waterview homes and lots in master-planned communities.
In 2003, Golf Course Home® expanded to 10+ golf and waterview community websites and became officially known as the GolfCourseHome®Network.
In 2005, the Network expanded to 18 sites. In 2006, the Network expanded to 22 sites, then added seven more in 2007, including the GolfCourseHome Blog. The years 2008-09 saw a major expansion with the addition of 14 new sites. And in December 2011, GolfCourseHome.com was launched, becoming the GCH Network’s 44th Member Website and its new flagship property in 2012.
The GolfCourseHome®Network’s mission is to:
- Provide executives who want to live the country club lifestyle and are looking for a golf or waterview home or homesite. GolfCourseHome provides key information about world-class, amenity and country club communities in the U.S. and the world.
- Provide golf and waterview community marketers the greatest exposure to motivated buyers online and to channel leads to communities via Internet exposure, hot links, press releases and direct e-mail newsletters.

Company History
The GolfCourseHome®Network is published by Lott Custom Communications, LLC, which was founded in 1990 by David Lott in Newtown, Connecticut. Lott is a former Creative Services Manager for the New York Times Sports Leisure Division, where he wrote special advertising sections for Golf Digest, Tennis, Golf World, Golf Shop Operations and Snow Country. Lott was also responsible for producing advertising and promotion for the division’s seven magazines.
