Kingsmill on the James, Williamsburg VA and the LPGA Tour announced that women’s pro golf would return this year to the famed River Course at Kingsmill. The $1.3 million LPGA Kingsmill Championship is scheduled for Sept. 6-9.

LPGA Returns to Kingsmill with 2012 Kingsmill Championship on Sept. 6-9

The LPGA has announced its return to Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia, beginning in 2012 with the Kingsmill Championship. The tournament marks the Tour’s fifth new event – and fourth in North America – on the 2012 tournament schedule.
