Ford’s Colony, VA: Hosts Colony Kids Springfest this weekend.
> Ford’s Colony, Williamsburg VA is calling all kids in the community to turn out for this year’s Colony Kids Springfest, scheduled for Sun., April 26 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. in Westbury Park.
Families with kids of all ages are invited to take part in the annual event’s activities, which include face painting, inflatables, games, contests and refreshments provided by the Dominion Dogs Food Truck. Attendees can even enjoy the Kiwanis-Supported Train through James City County. Send me more information about Ford’s Colony!
Conservancy Classroom at Palmetto Bluff, SC
Palmetto Bluff, SC: Hosts Conservancy Classroom event.
> Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton SC has an interactive Conservancy Classroom event happening on Friday, May 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. and hosted by the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy. It’s a Volunteer Day in the Pollinator Garden, located on Old Moreland Road.
Leading the event will be Conservancy Educator Aaron Palmieri, whose agenda of activities will include weeding the garden beds and providing any necessary TLC to its diverse flora. Gardening gloves, closed-toed shoes and long pants are required. Send me more information about Palmetto Bluff!
