Astronomy Event at Moss Creek, SC
Moss Creek, SC: Recently hosted astronomy event.
> Moss Creek, Hilton Head Island SC recently gathered science–minded residents on the club’s golf driving range for “an unforgettable journey through the night sky,” hosted by Bill Gwynne, known in amateur astronomy circles as Bill the Sky Guy.
Attendees were guided through prominent constellations, planets, asteroids and other celestial phenomena. Gwynn is a year-round Hilton Head resident with 30-plus years experience in astrophotography and the use of sophisticated telescopic equipment, his gear provided for group stargazing events representing a nearly $10,000 investment.
