in Events and Holidays, Sailing NewsDataw Island SC Yacht Club Annual Sailing Regatta Oct 25: Dataw Island and its Yacht Club is sponsoring the fifth annual Dataw Island Cup Sailing Regatta on Sat., Oct. 25. This is a race for mono hull, displacement sailboats with PHRF ratings that are 18 feet long and over. The race is 22 miles long and starts at noon in the Coosaw River, finishing at Dataw Marina.

Woodson, 32, was on “Big Break” Mexico in 2013. He currently competes on the NGA Pro Tour Series and other mini-tours, but can further his career by playing well at this week’s PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament in Atlanta.
