Top Golf Instructors at Sea Pines Resort, SC
Sea Pines Resort, SC: Instructors named in Golf Digest.
> Sea Pines Resort, Hilton Head Island SC is pleased to report that three golf instructors on the Sea Pines professional staff have been named among the best in South Carolina in the newly released 2026-27 edition of Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in Every State ranking. Tim Cooke, Rick Barry, and Julie Cole all earned places on the biennial list, which highlights the top instructors as identified by their peers.
The golf coaching team is led by Cooke, Cooke, the resort’s director of instruction, who is a PGA Master Professional and in was named the Carolinas PGA Teacher of the Year. Send me more information about Sea Pines!

Howl-O-Ween at Woodside, SC
Woodside, SC: Howl-O-Ween benefits SPCA.
> Woodside, Aiken SC invites residents and their canine companions to The Village at Woodside on Fri., Oct. 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for the annual Howl-O-Ween celebration in partnership with the SPCA Albrecht Center.
This pet-friendly evening features a costume contest for dogs, live music by the Lost Dog Band, refreshments and Pup-Cups from The Village Café, plus a pop-up market of local, animal-focused vendors.
