Big East Championship at Riverton Pointe, SC
Riverton Pointe, SC: Hosts championship next month.
> Riverton Pointe, Hardeeville SC is making preparations to host the 2026 Big East Men’s Golf Championships, scheduled for Sat.-Mon., May 2-4 on the community’s 7,300-yard Nicklaus Design championship course.
Eleven schools from the conference will participate in the tournament, including Marquette University, Xavier University, Creighton University, Seton Hall University, St. John’s University, University of Connecticut, Villanova University, Georgetown University, DePaul University, Butler University, and Providence College. Fun Dining Event at Indian River CC, FL
Indian River Colony Club, FL: Holds fun dining event.
> Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne-Viera FL recently held a flip-the-script event at the community’s At Ease Club dining room. During this fun dining event, resident members of the 55-plus community played the role of servers for a barbecue luncheon at which IRCC employees were the seated guests.
Board members bussed tables, refilled glasses and offered personal thanks to the staffers in attendance. As a slide show of employee photographs scrolled, a club leader took to the microphone to express the community’s sincere appreciation to its 120 staff members.
