Southern Hills Plantation, FL: Hosts upcoming holiday event.
> Southern Hills Plantation, Brooksville FL is inviting members and friends to an off-beat and festive holiday event, the Flamingle & Jingle, scheduled for Thur., Dec. 11 at Sunnies, the all-new bar and café at the club’s pool complex.
Agenda for the holiday event, which starts at 5:30 p.m., includes happy hour, dinner and live entertainment from talented musician Justin Phillips. Historical Education at Palmetto Bluff, SC
Palmetto Bluff, SC: Continuing historical education program.
> Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton SC continues its historical education program for residents with Brown Bag Lunch exploration of Oak Island, scheduled for 12 noon – 1 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 3.
Led by Palmetto Bluff resident archaeologist Katie Epps, the walk will offer insights on the Oak Island, which is located at the southern end of the community’s vast acreage and operated as a plantation in the 18th and 19th centuries.
