Sea Trail Plantation, SC: Renovations are nearly complete.
> Sea Trail Plantation, Sunset Beach NC is near the completion of its major renovation project for the community’s Dan Maples-designed golf course. Updates to the Maples Course include a full greens renovation featuring new TifEagle Bermuda turfgrass and Tahoma 31 collars.
It also includes new and expanded waste bunkers and natural areas as well as installation of new irrigation heads to support turf health and consistent course conditions. Discovering the Past at Palmetto Bluff, SC
Palmetto Bluff, SC: Conservancy hosts “Discovering the Past.”
> Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton SC recently added a unique educational experience to the event schedule of the the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy. Titled “Discovering the Past: Wilson Cemetery Walk,” it’s happening Thur., Oct. 2 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Guided by Katie Epps, a staff archaeologist, the tour weaves through several of the 12 cemeteries that are spread throughout the community’s 20,000 acres. Katie will describe the history of these burial grounds, including recently completed restoration work and future projects in planning. Send me more information about Palmetto Bluff!
