> Ford’s Colony, Williamsburg VA is calling all kids in the community to turn out for this year’s Colony Kids Springfest, scheduled for Sun., April 26 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. in Westbury Park.
Families with kids of all ages are invited to take part in the annual event’s activities, which include face painting, inflatables, games, contests and refreshments provided by the Dominion Dogs Food Truck. >> Sun City Hilton Head/Riverbend, Bluffton: Completed a $4 million renovation of the Okatie Creek Golf Course in October 2025.

Golf Course Upgrades: Ongoing & Multi-Year Programs
>> Callawassie Island, Okatie, SC: Is in the final stages of a three-year renovation program covering all 27 holes. The project, scheduled for completion in 2024–2025, includes restoring putting surfaces, repairing green surrounds for drainage and re-grassing tee complexes. It’s a group hike along the Hitchcock Woods Kalmia Trail, known for its spectacular springtime floral display. This two-mile circular hike begins at 9 a.m., weather permitting and depending on the timing of the bloom.
