Ford’s Colony, VA. Helps Geese
Ford’s Colony, VA: Students help geese population.
> Ford’s Colony, Williamsburg VA extends a thank-you to 38 residents along with a group of college students for their combined work toward stabilizing the community’s population of Canada Geese.
The volunteers worked in phases, identifying goose nests, addling eggs and conducting goose and gosling population counts.
The group was greatly assisted by the expertise of Dr. Dan Cristol, a biologist on the faculty of The College of William & Mary, for his help in education.

The Landings, GA: Hosts tournament next winter.
> The Landings, Savannah GA announced a new program event to entertain golf fans during the community’s 2023 Club Car Championship golf tournament, happening late next winter. The event is is the Club Car Concert on the Range and will feature national touring sensation Yacht Rock Revue. The site is Deer Creek driving range following the third round of tournament competition.

> Moss Creek Plantation, Hilton Head Island SC is continuing work on a major clubhouse renovation and recently shared a video update on the contractor’s progress. The project will completely revamp the facility with new locker rooms, infrastructure and greatly expanded indoor/outdoor dining.
