Oldfield, SC: Hosts fundraiser for veterans.
> Oldfield, Okatie SC is volunteering its golf course to the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes as one of the host sites for the foundation’s annual Golf Classic fundraiser.
A full field of contributors and military combat veterans will play the community’s Greg Norman-designed championship course on Mon., May 19.
The day’s festivities will include a Wounded Heroes Golf Clinic, parachute jumps led by the Special Forces Association Parachute Team and an awards dinner. Send me more information about Oldfield!

> Woodside, Aiken SC is set to host its 3rd annual Storehouse of Mercy “Putting for the Pantry” Golf Tournament, scheduled for Sun., Mother’s Day, May 12. The event includes a dinner and silent auction. Its goal is to raise the funds needed to support the daily operations of the Storehouse of Mercy moving forward.
