Sea Trail Plantation, NC: Renovating Dan Maples course.
> Sea Trail Plantation, Sunset Beach NC announced last week that it had begun a major renovation project for the resort community’s Dan Maples-designed golf course.
The planned updates for the Maples Course include a full greens renovation, featuring new TifEagle Bermuda greens with Tahoma 31 collars; new and expanded waste bunkers and natural areas; installation of new irrigation heads to support turf health and consistent course conditions; and, brand new course signage, as well as new bunker-rakes, flagsticks, flags, cups, and tee markers. Senior PGA Championship at The Concession, FL
The Concession, FL: Hosts Senior PGA Championship next year.
> The Concession, Bradenton FL joined with the PGA of America to announce that the community’s award-winning golf course—co-designed by Jack Nicklaus and Tony Jacklin—would host the Senior PGA Championship for three consecutive years, beginning with the 2026 edition scheduled for April 16-19.
The Senior PGA Championship, the longest-running major event in senior golf, began in 1937 at Augusta National Golf Club. Renovations at Sea Trail Plantation, NC
Sea Trail Plantation, NC: Renovating Dan Maples course.
> Sea Trail Plantation, Sunset Beach NC announced last week that it had begun a major renovation project for the resort community’s Dan Maples-designed golf course.
The planned updates for the Maples Course include a full greens renovation, featuring new TifEagle Bermuda greens with Tahoma 31 collars; new and expanded waste bunkers and natural areas; installation of new irrigation heads to support turf health and consistent course conditions; and, brand new course signage, as well as new bunker-rakes, flagsticks, flags, cups, and tee markers. Senior PGA Championship at The Concession, FL
The Concession, FL: Hosts Senior PGA Championship next year.
> The Concession, Bradenton FL joined with the PGA of America to announce that the community’s award-winning golf course—co-designed by Jack Nicklaus and Tony Jacklin—would host the Senior PGA Championship for three consecutive years, beginning with the 2026 edition scheduled for April 16-19.
The Senior PGA Championship, the longest-running major event in senior golf, began in 1937 at Augusta National Golf Club. The competition annually features a 156-player field consisting of numerous major winners, World Golf Hall of Famers and past Ryder Cup Captains. Send me more information about The Concession!
