Moss Creek, SC Opens Renovated Course
Moss Creek, SC: North Course renovations are complete.
> Moss Creek, Hilton Head Island SC has unveiled its newly renovated North Course, originally designed by Tom Fazio and open once again following a comprehensive improvement project headed up by noted course architect John Fought. Along with George Fazio’s South Course, opened 51 years ago, the rejuvenated North golf course gives Moss Creek golfers 36 championship holes to play and enjoy.
A new irrigation system and drainage were installed during the eight-month, multi–million–dollar project. Additionally, eight bunkers were removed and three added, for strategic and aesthetic value. Approximately 214 yards were added to the total layout, which now stretches to 6,722 yards from the back tees. Send me more information about Moss Creek!

Ford’s Colony, VA Hosts Turkey Trot
Ford’s Colony, VA: Hosts Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning.
> Ford’s Colony, Williamsburg VA is letting residents know about a rousing holiday event co-sponsored by Ford’s Colony Country Club and the Runner’s Club activity group, scheduled for Thanksgiving morning, Thur., Nov. 27. Known as the Turkey Trot, it’s a family-oriented, non-competitive, timed, 2-mile run/walk.
All residents and their visitors and friends are warmly welcome to participate at the Turkey Trot. It will start at 9 a.m. at the gazebo near the country club. Parking will be available in the club non-member lot. This is a free event, with bottled water and bananas at the finish. Pre-registration is recommended but not required. Sea Pines, SC: Celebrates Harbour Town Golf Links reopening.
> Sea Pines Resort, Hilton Head Island SC recently held a ceremony marking the reopening of its famed Harbour Town Golf Links, following a six-month restoration project.
The project was originally intended as an updating of the course’s infrastructure to ensure championship-caliber conditions year-round.
However, the project grew as a golden opportunity to restore many features from Pete Dye’s original design and to ensure that one of America’s most recognizable layouts stood the test of time.

Moss Creek, SC Opens Renovated Course
Moss Creek, SC: North Course renovations are complete.
> Moss Creek, Hilton Head Island SC has unveiled its newly renovated North Course, originally designed by Tom Fazio and open once again following a comprehensive improvement project headed up by noted course architect John Fought. Along with George Fazio’s South Course, opened 51 years ago, the rejuvenated North golf course gives Moss Creek golfers 36 championship holes to play and enjoy.
A new irrigation system and drainage were installed during the eight-month, multi–million–dollar project. Additionally, eight bunkers were removed and three added, for strategic and aesthetic value. Approximately 214 yards were added to the total layout, which now stretches to 6,722 yards from the back tees. Send me more information about Moss Creek!

Ford’s Colony, VA Hosts Turkey Trot
Ford’s Colony, VA: Hosts Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning.
> Ford’s Colony, Williamsburg VA is letting residents know about a rousing holiday event co-sponsored by Ford’s Colony Country Club and the Runner’s Club activity group, scheduled for Thanksgiving morning, Thur., Nov. 27. Known as the Turkey Trot, it’s a family-oriented, non-competitive, timed, 2-mile run/walk.
All residents and their visitors and friends are warmly welcome to participate at the Turkey Trot. It will start at 9 a.m. at the gazebo near the country club. Parking will be available in the club non-member lot. This is a free event, with bottled water and bananas at the finish. Pre-registration is recommended but not required.
