Sun City Riverbend, SC Celebrates Renovations
Sun City Riverbend, SC: Reopens Okatie Creek course.
> Sun City Riverbend Hilton Head Island, Bluffton SC recently celebrated the reopening of its Okatie Creek Golf Course following a six-month course renovation project.
The $4 million project focused on enhancing turf conditions through re-grassing as well as improving drainage and restoring greens to their original size.
The course reopened Oct. 1 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. As part of the course renovation, the club’s practice facility was also renovated and increased in size by 50 percent.

Sun City Riverbend, SC: Reopens Okatie Creek course.
> Sun City Riverbend Hilton Head Island, Bluffton SC recently celebrated the reopening of its Okatie Creek Golf Course following a six-month course renovation project.
The $4 million project focused on enhancing turf conditions through re-grassing as well as improving drainage and restoring greens to their original size.
The course reopened Oct. 1 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. As part of the course renovation, the club’s practice facility was also renovated and increased in size by 50 percent.
