Palmetto Bluff, SC: Conservancy hosts “Discovering the Past.”
> Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton SC recently added a unique educational experience to the event schedule of the the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy. Titled “Discovering the Past: Wilson Cemetery Walk,” it’s happening Thur., Oct. 2 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Guided by Katie Epps, a staff archaeologist, the tour weaves through several of the 12 cemeteries that are spread throughout the community’s 20,000 acres. > The Club at Quail Ridge, Boynton Beach FL is proud to announce that it has been named one of just 45 winners nationwide in the USTA’s annual Outstanding Facility Awards program. Even more noteworthy: the honorees are divided into small and large public facilities, and small and large private facilities. Quail Ridge was recognized as one of only seven large private clubs in the country and the only large private club selected in Florida.
Among those seven, every other winner featured indoor or hard courts, making Quail Ridge the only award recipient distinguished by Har-Tru courts.The award was presented last week during the 2025 US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York. Audubon International Re-Certifies Oldfield, SC

> Oldfield, Okatie SC has retained its designation as a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” through the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses, a longstanding environmental sustainability program of Audubon International. Oldfield has been an Audubon “Neighborhood for Nature” and a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Golf Course” since 2004, as well as a “Certified Audubon Sustainable Community” since 2018.
