Ceremony Marks Quail Ridge Renovation
Quail Ridge, FL: Ceremony celebrates course renovations.
> Quail Ridge Golf & Country Club, Boynton Beach FL recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Bobby Weed Golf Design to mark the grand reopening of the community’s South Course, which underwent a complete redesign.
The project, which included the practice area, began in April. Clustered bunkering and newly opened-up South Course greens now encourage a variety of strategic shots, which will appeal to the full spectrum of ages and abilities within the club’s membership. Indian River Club Donates to Children
Indian River Colony Club, FL: Bicycle group donates to kids.
> Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne-Viera FL, which is an official drop-off location for the Marine Toys for Tots organization, congratulates its Pickled Pedalers bicycle club on a particularly generous contribution to holiday support for underprivileged children.
The Pickled Pedalers pooled their own funds to purchase 20 bicycles for boys and girls. This is the third year the group has donated bicycles to Toys for Tots. Send me more information about Indian River Colony Club!
New Manager at The Concession
The Concession, FL: Welcomes new manager.
> The Concession, Bradenton FL has appointed veteran club executive Jeffrey Parsons as its General Manager. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, with a master’s degree in Sports Administration from Ohio University, Parsons led his own professional sports marketing and event management company for more than 15 years.
Jeff got his start as an Assistant Manager at Muirfield Village Golf Club, where his team hosted The Memorial Tournament as well as the 1987 Ryder Cup. During his tenure as Tournament Director with PGA National, Jeff ran multiple major golf championships for the PGA and PGA Seniors. Send me more information about The Concession!
