Indian River CC, FL Announces Employee of the Year
Indian River Colony Club, FL: Announced Employee of the Year.
> Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne-Viera FL just announced its Employee of the Year for 2023 and the honoree is Michelle Adams. An employee since 2021, Ms. Adams was recognized during the December membership meeting and presented with a $500 monetary award.
She is an executive assistant at Indian River Colony Club, where all 120 full-time employees are eligible for the annual award.
Department managers each nominate an exceptional member of their team and then cast votes for the most exemplary employee. Send me more information about Indian River Colony Club!
The Concession, FL and Intersport host World Champions Cup
The Concession and Intersport host World Champions Cup.
> The Concession, Bradenton FL and its event partner, Intersport, have announced that the World Champions Cup—following its successful debut in 2023—would return to The Concession Golf Club in 2024, 2025 and 2028.
The second annual World Champions Cup will be played December 5-8, 2024 and will air once again on ABC and ESPN.
All three captains will return, as Jim Furyk will seek to help Team USA defend its title and Ernie Els (Team International) and Darren Clarke (Team Europe) will look to dethrone the champions.

Sled Derby at Treasure Lake, PA
Treasure Lake, PA: Hosts Sled Derby Feb. 3.
> Treasure Lake, DuBois PA will hold a Cardboard Sled Derby on Sat., Feb. 3 on the community’s Sledding Hill beginning at 2:30 p.m. The event is part of Treasure Lake’s annual Winterfest celebration and is co-hosted by the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
Two age groups compete in the Derby—kids 9 and younger and kids 10 to 17. All sleds must be constructed solely of cardboard and tape.
