GOLF Magazine Honors The Landings, GA Director
The Landings, GA: Home of award winning instructors.
> The Landings, Savannah GA announced that its director of golf instruction, Joe Plecker, had been named to the GOLF Magazine list of the Top 100 Teachers in the U.S for 2021-22.
This is Plecker’s third consecutive award from GOLF Magazine. In the bi-annual selection process for the Top 100, he completed a rigorous application and was reviewed by an array of committees and editors.

Desert Mountain Opens Junior Academy
Desert Mountain, AZ: Opens junior sports academy.
> Desert Mountain, Scottsdale AZ has partnered with DiscoverGolf, an innovator in junior golf programming, to establish a one-of-a-kind Junior Sports Academy, focusing on golf and tennis enthusiasts age four to 17.
The DiscoverGolf curriculum includes original “game designs” with names like “Croctology,” “King Putt,” “Freak Fighter’’ and “Nutcluster.”
These boredom–beating games are rooted in simulator golf, the Topgolf experience and other golf spinoffs.
