Woodside, SC: Golf community celebrates Juneteenth.
> Woodside, Aiken SC and the entire community of Aiken have their calendars marked for a series of events marking Juneteenth 2023. The highlight of these weeklong festivities will be Aiken’s Juneteenth Celebration, on Sat., June 24 in Founders Park from 12 noon to 3 p.m., co-sponsored by City of Aiken Tourism and the Center for African American History, Art and Culture.

Indian River CC, FL Continues to Help Vets
Indian River CC, Fl: Veteran assistance program funded.
> Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne-Viera FL, through its Indian River Colony Club Foundation, recently partnered with two area nonprofit organizations to aid homeless and low-income veterans.
The Foundation presented checks last month totaling $8,000 to Veterans Connections to a New Life as well as to National Veterans Homeless Support.

> Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton SC recently put out progress reports on two important community amenities. Crews working on a new Nine Hole Golf Course have nearly completed the irrigation and drainage systems and are set to begin sodding the course with Northbridge bermuda grass.

The highlight of these weeklong festivities will be Aiken’s Juneteenth Celebration, on Sat., June 24 in Founders Park from 12 noon to 3 p.m., co-sponsored by City of Aiken Tourism and the Center for African American History, Art and Culture.
The festivities include food trucks, crafts vendors and a special live performance by guitar virtuoso Mac Arnold accompanied by the Plate Full of Blues Band. Send me more information about Woodside!

Indian River CC, FL Continues to Help Vets
Indian River CC, Fl: Veteran assistance program funded.
> Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne-Viera FL, through its Indian River Colony Club Foundation, recently partnered with two area nonprofit organizations to aid homeless and low-income veterans.
The Foundation presented checks last month totaling $8,000 to Veterans Connections to a New Life as well as to National Veterans Homeless Support.
These organizations provide free services to veterans, helping to ensure returning military veterans successfully transition back to civilian life after the completion of their service. Send me more information about Indian River Colony Club!
