Callawassie Island, SC: Planning renovations to golf course.
> Callawassie Island, SC is executing on schedule with its its a planned program of extensive renovations to the community’s 27 holes of Tom Fazio-designed golf.
Work on the Magnolia and Dogwood courses is now complete and both nines are open for play.
Key components of the project include restoration of the putting surfaces back to USGA-recommended root-zone profiles, repair of approaches and green surrounds to ensure adequate drainage, plus the expansion and reshaping and re-grassing of tee complexes.

Garage Band at Hilton Head Plantation, SC
Hilton Head Plantation, SC: Hosts new musical activity.
> Hilton Head Plantation, Hilton Head Island SC has added a new activity club to its extensive and varied roster. It’s called the Garage Band and it’s a place for musicians—beginner to experienced—who want to play ‘classics’ that are rock, country, blues and even pop.

You can be part of it as the four talented chefs from the Sea Pines culinary staff compete in this annual competition. Help host the evening’s wine dinner festivities will be wine expert O’Brien, who will describe all the action and do his part by pairing wines with each of the chefs’ dishes.
