Ocean Ridge Plantation, NC: Continues expansive renovations.
> Ocean Ridge Plantation, Ocean Isle Beach NC is continuing construction work on the new, multi–million-dollar Ridge Center project. This is a 10,000-sf, single-story amenities building comprised of meeting spaces, a large event space, offices and a congregating library area.
Throughout the site are pickleball courts with separate parking and a new 4,000-sf outdoor pool with a 6,000-sf pool deck. Michael Smalls is a 7th-generation basket-sewer from Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
He learned the craft from his grandmother, Lucinda Pringle, whose mother was an enslaved worker on Laurel Hill Plantation. Patriotic Spectacular at The Villages, FL
The Villages, FL: Hosts Patriotic Spectacular.

> Woodside, Aiken SC and its Village at Woodside event group is inviting area residents and visitors to a free Independence Day Celebration in the Village on Thur., July 4 from 7 to 10 p.m. Festivities and attractions include live music by Preston & Weston, covering the musical gamut from R&B and shag to jazz standard, reggae and a bit of country.
Local vendors Lobster Dog, Uprooted Vegan, and Sunset Slush will have their food trucks on property and the Village Café will be open late serving hamburgers, hot dogs, gelato, and beverages. The evening ends with fireworks hosted by The Reserve Club. Send me more information about Woodside!
