Indian River Colony Club Honors Veterans
Indian River Colony Club, FL: Continues support for veterans.
> Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne-Viera FL has announced that a new $2,500 grant by the IRCC Foundation was awarded to St. Francis Reflections Foundation, in support of the national We Honor Veterans program. The program, developed in coordination with the U.S. Veterans Administration, provides recognition and support for local veterans receiving hospice or palliative care.

> Dataw Island, SC will continue a tradition of honoring Veteran’s Day with an outstanding program of events, including a benefit golf marathon and the presentation of a Quilt of Valor. On Tue., Nov. 8 at 9:30 am, veterans from all American military branches will join together for the annual Veterans March and Rally at the Dataw Island Clubhouse.
The ceremony includes a full color guard, vocal performance, and presentation. The Purple Heart Golf Classic follows the parade, with a field of 200 supporters and 30 wounded veterans from all across the U.S. competing.
